Job Description:

 

15.00 per hour with potential for increase after 90 days. Requires two days working from our beautiful office located in Meridian, Idaho, three days working from home, eventually could transition to 100% work from home if desired.

Job Purpose

Retirement Benefits Administrative Assistant IIs are dedicated to providing superior customer service to retirement plan clients and plan participants. They strive to simplify the complexity of the retirement plan industry and keep customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

 

Key Functions

  • Assists incoming callers with questions regarding withdrawals from employer-sponsored retirement plans
  • Uses critical thinking and active listening skills to understand caller inquiries, and effectively communicates responses to ensure one-call resolution.
  • Provides recordkeeping, plan document maintenance and administrative support for the team including assistance in government form filing, distribution processing, participant loan processing, data entry, scheduling, invoice preparations and clerical tasks
  • Maintains data in PensionPro as withdrawals are processed; keep PensionPro up-to-date as requests are received
  • Maintains various accounting spreadsheets and enters invoices in accounting software to bill and track various billings
  • Able to demonstrate excellent attendance
  • Adheres to AmeriBen culture by demonstrating Integrity, Initiative, Good Judgment, and Teamwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure individual and group goals are achieved with Accuracy, Customer Service and Timely Turnaround.

Experience and Skills:

 

Minimum Qualifications & Education

  • High school degree, or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Two or more years of office/bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of retirement plan terminology
