Job Description:

Client Service Specialists are dedicated to superior customer service and administrative support for our Client Services team. They strive to excel in researching and resolving escalated issues from internal and external customers. At a higher level they will transition into research and resolution of complex and escalated inquires of eligibility, claims, network, and medical management cases.

Key Functions

  • Assist Client Services team with special handling of escalated client inquiries.
  • Dedicated Client Services support for management of client specific project logs and emails for various business units and vendors.
  • Navigates proprietary software systems to locate caller information, and log call details and resolution.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST information security requirements to protect client information.
  • Clearly comprehends inquires and adhere to Client Service turnaround times
  • Adheres to AmeriBen culture by demonstrating Integrity, Initiative, Good Judgment, and Teamwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure individual and group goals are achieved with Accuracy, Customer Service and Timely Turnaround.

Experience and Skills:

  • High school degree, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, focus on Excel.
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills including multi-tasking and prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical and dental terminology.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
