Job Description:


Job Purpose

To provide a dedicated project manager to oversee new business implementations throughout the year. Ensuring consistent oversight of the implementation process and providing focused attention and support to both internal and external stakeholders.


Key Functions

  • Implementation project management responsibilities for new clients including facilitation of regular meetings, organization of tasks and various documents, and follow up on open tasks for various internal teams.
  • Clearly communicates expectations and consequences for missing targets.
  • Comprehends and responds to client requests and concerns.
  • Builds trust quickly by being a reliable, responsive resource to clients, broker consultants, and internal teams.
  • Escalates issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Adheres to AmeriBen culture by demonstrating Integrity, Initiative, Good Judgment, and Teamwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure individual and group goals are achieved with Accuracy, Customer Service and Timely Turnaround.

Experience and Skills:



Minimum Qualifications & Education

  • College degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of third-party administration industry and self-funded health plans.
  • Experience implementing new business.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to foresee/identify potential problems before they occur.
  • Proficient at handling difficult conversations.
  • Familiarity with various laws governing self-funded health plans: ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.
