Job Description:

Health Reimbursement Arrangement Processors administer employer funded HRA accounts and are dedicated to accurate HRA claims processing, reporting, timely turnaround, and superior customer care. They help clients and members navigate claim submission and reimbursement processes, while simplifying the experience and keeping customer satisfaction a top priority.

Key Functions

  • Processes HRA claims daily, applying benefits as appropriate, either allowing, adjusting, or suppressing
  • HRA payments as required.
  • Navigates proprietary software systems to locate information, research and resolve questions from clients and members regarding HRA payments.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST information security requirements to protect client information.
  • Clearly comprehends client /member concerns and escalates them as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ability to work with numbers and think analytically.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
  • Adheres to AmeriBen culture by demonstrating Integrity, Initiative, Good Judgment, and Teamwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure individual and group goals are achieved with Accuracy, Customer Service and Timely Turnaround.

Experience and Skills:

  • High school degree, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance, and punctuality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working independently, and demonstrating self-motivation, within a team environment.
  • Experience with data entry, and detail accuracy.
  • Experience prioritizing projects and daily tasks for timely turnaround.
  • Experience with medical or insurance claims processing a plus.
