Job Description:

Set-up and maintain system for all flex clients. Provides internal and external customer service in the flex department.

Key Result Areas


  • Maintains a maximum of 72-hour turnaround time on claims and 24-hour or less turnaround time on flex calls.

  • Processes claims in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Processes transmittals of payroll deductions.

  • Provides accurate year-to-date reports to the employers.

  • Enrolls new employees and terminating accounts.

  • Verifies check registers to confirm accurate funds.

  • Provides employers with forfeiture detailed reports.

  • Remains up to date of current FSA guidelines and requirements.

  • Works directly with client HR staff.

  • Direct Deposit set up and maintenance.

  • Manages Flex Debit Card Transactions.


  • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed.

Experience and Skills:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Basic knowledge of the administration of flexible benefit plans

  • One year of claim processing experience preferred

  • Ability to work efficiently, perform multi-tasking, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent customer service attitude and skills

  • Ability to work efficiently, be organized, perform multi-tasking, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Essential Key Result Areas with or without a reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self

  • Maintain the highest levels of accuracy on all projects.
