Job Description:

Assist the AmeriBen Sales & Marketing team by responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and creating marketing materials in a timely fashion, as well as assisting in other key departmental functions.

Key Result Areas

Essential

  • Respond to RFPs in an accurate and timely manner, effectively managing the process to ensure proposals are delivered by the requested due date.

  • Coordinate and manage timelines with internal operations and/or external vendors (e.g., PPO networks, PBMs, stop loss, EAP, HSA/HRA, etc.) to respond accurately & timely to RFPs.

  • Effectively communicate with internal operations as well as external vendors and brokers.

  • Coordinate and effectively communicate with Marketing/RFP team regarding RFP completion and proposal compilation.

  • Compile and submit proposal to ensure accuracy and timely turnaround.

  • Maintain 'Prospect Report' with details & metrics pertaining to RFPs and sales.

  • Maintain database of RFP responses for future RFP reference.

  • Create marketing and employee communication materials, upon request, for Sales & Marketing, Account & Business Development team, and potentially Community Council to review and/or distribute.

  • Coordinate and participate in RFP and sales strategy meetings, as needed

  • Shop and assist in placing stop loss for current and prospective new clients when requested. Coordinate and/or attend internal/external meetings as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date with internal organizational processes and industry changes in order to correctly respond to RFPs.

  • Provide assistance in planning and implementing the Annual Leadership Conference by participating on the committee and/or other duties as requested.

Experience and Skills:

    • Must have a college degree, preferably Business or Communications-related, and/or 1 - 3 years’ industry experience

    • Basic knowledge of AmeriBen claims & related operations is helpful, but not required
