Job Description:

Job Summary

The ID Card Specialist will work closely with the external ID card vendor [RedCard] to create ID card templates. The ID Card Specialist will obtain an understanding then adhere to medical vendor’s different requirements for the ID card templates and expectations. The ID Card Specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders to create ID cards based on the ID Card Benefit Set-up form.

Key Result Areas

  • Work with internal stakeholders and collaborate the creation of ID card[s]

  • Review the ID Card Benefits set-up form completed by the CSC

  • Create the Key Card and obtain final approval

  • Follow any State mandates on ID cards [aka: Colorado]

  • Monitor and make changes based on the ID card benefit set-up form and change forms

  • Build ID cards on the RedCard system

  • Pre-review ID cards before forwarding them for approval to CSC

  • Prioritize workload and organize tasks to accomplish them within strict deadlines

  • Regularly update spreadsheet relating to the status of each ID card progress

  • Provide metrics as needed.

  • Set up ID card mapping [tool created by TSC]

  • Submit tickets to turn on/off ID cards as necessary

  • Evaluate daily RedCard reports

  • Oversee the ID card welcome letters and other necessary material if applicable.

  • Adheres to Turnaround Time (TAT) commitments.

  • Participate in miscellaneous teams/committees as needed.

  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, self-directed environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirement from medical vendors
