Job Description:

Job Summary

Design, program and maintain MS Reporting Services reports as part of a team. Write, modify and maintain complex SQL queries. Consult and coach internal report users as requested to ensure they understand existing reports. Demonstrate teamwork by efficiently clarifying data requirements of new reports. Triage incoming report incidents and address or escalate to more senior team member. Perform ad-hoc client reporting tasks as assigned.

  • Develop reports meeting given specifications

  • Execute monthly client report packages

  • Create monthly client OLAP cubes

  • Timely resolution or escalation of issues and incidents

  • Maintain existing reporting solutions

  • Thoroughly document processes

  • Provide ad hoc reporting as needed from a variety of sources

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma and technical degree or 4 years’ equivalent experience

Skills

  • Developer Languages - Fundamental Skills

    • Microsoft Visual Studio Business Intelligence

    • Transact SQL

    • SQL Server Reporting Services

  • Developer Tools/Technologies

    • Microsoft SQL Server

    • Microsoft Access

    • Microsoft Team Foundation Server

  • Demonstrated ability to write, modify and maintain SQL queries.

Qualifications

  • Ability to use good judgment in problem solving.

  • Strong SQL skills
