Job Description:

Primary areas of focus for this position include administrative support for human resource consulting projects, accounting, and sales activities.

Key Result Areas

Essential Duties

AAP Project Support

  • Prepare proposal letters and data template
  • Prepare data (clean) in Excel for upload into AAP software
  • Process AAP reports in AAP software
  • Prepare AAP narrative in Word
  • Prepare AAP management overview in PowerPoint
  • Print and package AAP for delivery

Compensation Project Support

  • Prepare, submit, and follow-up on public information requests for salary data
  • Download reports from ERI software
  • Enter data in Excel from information provided

Other Project Support

  • Download and process Decision-Style Inventory and Emotional Intelligence reports
  • Assist in printing and compiling training materials and supplies
  • Assist with training set up and support

Accounting Support

  • Update and maintain client information in Navision
  • Prepare monthly billings for recurring memberships
  • Prepare bills for projects
  • Send renewal gifts to clients upon payment of their membership (Book Project)
  • Coordinate supply orders internally for HRC team.

Sales Support

  • Prepare sales proposals and sales contracts
  • Provide administrative sales support
  • Prepare marketing and sales materials
  • Maintain sales database
  • Contact members via phone, mail correspondence, e-mail, and personal visits to support sales activities
  • Answer requests for information regarding services

Additional Duties

  • Assist AmeriBen staff when needed.
  • Support consulting project work, which may require travel
  • Review and edit documents and correspondence when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed

Experience and Skills:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2 years general office experience
  • Required to have working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the desire to improve these skills to an intermediate or expert level
  • Ability to process data using established systems and procedures
  • Ability to identify and solve problems independently within the scope of the essential duties
  • Must have excellent professional customer service attitude and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately while performing multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate a computer, copier, and telephone system.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Essential Duties with or without a reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2 years of experience in recruiting or staffing functions
