Job Description:

Analyze, design, program and maintain reporting solutions. Manage client reporting tasks as assigned. Develop and maintain data file extracts. Act as internal consultant helping the organization understand data requirements to drive and improve processes.

Key Result Areas


  • Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures to support external file extracts and reports
  • Maintain monthly reporting solutions
  • Thorough understanding of all tables and fields in core corporate databases
  • Provide insight to the data relationships in the database models
  • Provide new service development as needed
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Ensure team processes are well documented
  • Work with data warehouse team as required
  • Work w/ DBA on maintenance and optimization


  • Other requirements as assigned
  • Act as a business analyst for complex reporting tasks
  • Consult and coach on complex reporting tasks

Experience and Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years equivalent experience in IS/IT. (Health care industry experience preferred) and a minimum 2 years of SQL development experience
  • Thorough understanding of relational databases
  • Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server/Transact SQL preferred)
  • Understanding of a reporting framework (Microsoft Reporting Services preferred)
  • Knowledge of health care data structures and business practices
  • Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Essential Key Result Areas with or without a reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self
