Job Description:

The HRA Claims Processor I manages the various HRA (Health Reimbursement Accounts) for our clients, ensuring that benefits are processed appropriately and timely.

Key Result Areas

  • Processes HRA claims daily, applying benefits as appropriate
  • Reviews HRA auto claims daily to determine if payment should be allowed or suppressed
  • Production is 12 claims per hour (manual), 30 lines per hour (auto)
  • Reviews medical adjustments daily for HRA impact, requesting overpayments as needed
  • Reviews eligibility on a weekly basis and updates HRA contributions as needed.
  • Loads HRA contributions as needed.
  • Responds to call logs from all departments related to the HRA accounts.
  • Maintain accuracy of 99% financial, 97% payment, 95% procedural
  • Responsible to keep assigned clients at a 5 day turnaround
  • Pulls reporting for HRA as needed.
  • Assist HRA manager and other HRA processors as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Experience and Skills:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Proficient 10-key skills.
  • Complete projects and tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of department assigned.
  • Accuracy with numbers.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Excellent customer service attitude and professionalism.
  • Demonstrate Accuracy, Customer Service, Timely Turn-Around (ACT).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to work efficiently, perform multi-tasking, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and discretion, as well as the ability to adhere to both company policies and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security practices and procedures, including HIPAA and HITRUST standards.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Key Result Areas with or without a reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
