Job Description:

Assist with maintaining the provider files on the GBAS claims administration system.

 

Key Result Areas

 

Essential/Daily

  • Self Motivated
  • Attention to Detail
  • Minimum core competency for production is 40 claims per hour.
  • Add/update providers to GBAS (claims adjudication) system based on various types of approved documentation.
  • Add PPO contracts and Provider Types to provider files as required for claim processing.
  • Assist with correspondence, mailings, provider file cleanup projects, and other miscellaneous provider file maintenance tasks.
  • Responsible for verifying accuracy of provider address and specialty information in the provider file.
  • Add/change provider records in GBAS based on daily EDI Maintenance (M837) queue information
  • Ensure accuracy of each provider record in the GBAS database.

  • Provides accurate inventory and production counts
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed
  • Understanding the impact inaccuracies have on our members, brokers, clients, and the other departments.

Experience and Skills:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Team and Goal Oriented
  • Ability to work efficiently, perform multi-tasking, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with all departments
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Essential Key Result Areas with or without a reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self
