Job Summary

12.75 per hour

 

The Stop Loss Coordinator I, is responsible for managing group reimbursement functions completing timely referrals and submissions, account and reimbursement reconciliations based on stop loss contracts and various reporting. This position provides a high level of customer service to clients, brokers, vendors and internal teams, as well as performing various duties as assigned to support the department.

 

Key Functions

 

 

  • Manages and submits all specific and aggregate stop-loss submissions in a timely manner
  • Provides various information and updates to internal teams, vendors and clients as needed
  • Develops and maintains a working relationship with reinsurance carriers and their filing requirements
  • Creates, maintains, and distributes weekly and monthly reporting
  • Adheres to AmeriBen culture by demonstrating Integrity, Initiative, Good Judgment, and Teamwork
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure individual and group goals are achieved with Accuracy, Customer Service and Timely Turnaround

Experience and Skills:

 

Minimum Qualifications & education

  • High school degree, or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel
  • Great organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent customer service attitude and professionalism
  • Protect and enhance the Core Purpose and the Core Values of AmeriBen

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of stop loss, customer service or claims experience including verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of medical and dental terminology

Comprehensive understanding of Stop Loss and Subrogation
