Job Description:

$11.59 - In Office

The Support Service Clerk I provides clerical support to ensure quality operation within the company. Daily tasks range from handling mail as needed, to answering requests from other departments to efficiently and effectively deliver care to our clients and members.

Key Functions

  • Assists in the mail room and other clerical positions as needed
  • Delivers incoming and outgoing mail throughout AmeriBen as needed
  • Reviews files and records to answer requested information.
  • Gather and distribute items for other departments
  • Navigates proprietary software systems to locate member information.
  • Assist Lead with improving documented processes
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST information security requirements to protect client information.
  • Adheres to AmeriBen culture by demonstrating Integrity, Initiative, Good Judgment, and Teamwork.
  • Monitoring and ordering inventory of office supplies

Experience and Skills:

  • High school degree, or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Office 365 products, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
