Job Description:

The Client Network Service Specialist is responsible in assisting internal and external customers in researching and resolving escalated claims issues including direction communication with network representatives. This includes developing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external management, vendors, and the client.

Key Functions

  • Dedicated support for Account and Business Development Team regarding specific claims issues needing network support/research.
  • Maintain tracking of member submitted claims through use of reporting provided by Anthem and use of Anthem systems
  • Responsible for compiling escalated inquiries from multiple sources to provide to Anthem for escalation, review, research
  • Responsible for spreadsheet upkeep and implementation of necessary changes
  • Lead meetings with Anthem to work through open items as part of weekly escalation calls
  • Translating information and terminology used between all parties allowing for understanding based on scope of knowledge
  • Ability to research, prepare, and distribute communication timely
  • Assist with dedicated employee outreach as needed
  • Assist with correspondence as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed

Experience and Skills:

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Exceptional Organizational Skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to keep confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to work efficiently, perform multi-tasking, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with all departments
  • Excellent customer service attitude and professionalism
  • Healthcare industry claims filing processes
  • Must be reliable, punctual and flexible

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Efficient in Word/Outlook
