Job Description:


The Business Analyst focus is to ensure flawless integration of all data exchanges for new clients and vendors. They handle coordination with our internal and external customers to implement new groups, new products and new processes so members can access their benefits with ease.

Key Functions

  • Provide expertise in key business areas of the organization that rely on information services for support.
  • Subject matter expert point of contact for customers of technology services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to interpret customer requests and translate expectations to technical specifications that are meaningful to developers, ensuring outcomes meet or exceed expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST information security requirements to protect client information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure individual and group goals are achieved with Accuracy, Customer Service and Timely Turnaround.

Experience and Skills:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent analysis skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer tasks concurrently.
  • Adheres to AmeriBen culture by demonstrating Integrity, Initiative, Good Judgment, and Teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years Healthcare industry experience preferably in the TPA sector.
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems, SQL Server, claims adjudication system.
  • Proven experience in project management and documentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently, multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Essential Key Result Areas with or without a reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
  • Response time to requests - typically 4 hours or 1 hour in an emergency.
