Job Description:


RX Accumulator Specialists are responsible for the review of plan participants’ pharmacy benefit expenses from data files generated by external vendor partner by reconciling these amounts with their benefit plans to ensure the Deductible and Out of Pocket dollars are credited accurately. 

Key Functions

  • Monitor and reconcile with support, daily reports created by data exchanges from external Pharmacy vendor partners.
  • Navigate proprietary software systems with support, to ensure plan participants’ deductible and out-of-pocket dollars are accurately reflected.
  • Monitor reports with support, monthly to identify any amounts exceeding the plan participants’ Deductible and Out of Pocket maximums, and changes in the plan participant’s coverage that would negatively impact how their claims are administered.
  • Maintain with support, a 2 day turnaround time from time of receipt on emails or Customer Care call inquiries
  • Escalate with support, discrepancies identified based on pharmacy benefit expenses provided from our external vendor partners, which would cause a negative impact to plan participants and/or clients.
  • Maintain with support, good working relationships with internal departments, particularly Claims, Customer Care, Client Services, Application Support and Plan Build to ensure our clients’ needs are met.
  • Prioritize with support, work tasks within the department’s recommended guidance to ensure timely turnaround of work products.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, identified during the interview process.
  • Comply with HIPAA and HITRUST information security requirements to protect client information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure individual and group goals are achieved with Accuracy, Customer Service and Timely Turnaround.

Experience and Skills:

  • High school degree, or equivalent.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office products.
