Job Description:

Ability to work from home or in our office located in Meridian, ID!
We are hiring for 15 individuals to start October 17, 20221
The Blue Card Specialist I, monitors claims inventory to ensure claims are processed and returned within our Blue Card partners’ TAT. Assists Claim Processors with acquiring necessary info to successfully complete claims. Able to maintain all key roles needed within the expected timeframe. Assist the teammates with issues as needed. Communicates daily through email with AmeriBen’ s Blue Card partners to resolve issues as they arise.
$12.15 hour + DOE including an extensive benefits and compensation package!
Role Key Functions
  • Monitors/Creates and updates data within Excel spreadsheets daily to ensure network measurements are being met by reviewing Aged & Adjustment reports. Distributes to claims team on aged claims to ensure Turn-a-time is met.
  • Identifies and reports Blue Card claim related issues to Team Lead i.e., Claim file issues, missing records, duplicate files. Understanding on when and who an escalation should be addressed by.
  • Reconciliation files/recon exceptions reports. Monitors Payless recoupments from Network on behalf of the client
  • Rectifies failed 835(Explanation of Benefit transmittals) exceptions to ensure EOB returns within measured time.
  • Monitors and routes medical records to the appropriate processor(s). Outreach to network partners if additional records needed. Escalate if needed.
  • Research and resolves claim inquiries from Blue Card partners and internal teams.
  • Meets department and quality production standards. Achieves 95% TAT Resolution.
  • Completes all above tasks for Network/Clients designated for Tier I.

Experience and Skills:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate Accuracy, Customer Service, Timely Turn-Around (ACT).
  • Complete projects and tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills.
  • Excellent customer service attitude and professionalism.
  • Ability to work efficiently, perform multi-tasking, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and discretion, as well as the ability to adhere to both company policies and best practices.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality by not being on action plan.
  • Ensure compliance with security practices and procedures, including HIPAA and HITRUST standards.
  • Protect and enhance the Core Purpose and the Core Values of AmeriBen.

  • Computer knowledge
  • Working in high volume escalations.
